Simply Paul
I've heard of this before. I think just try a few random letters after your 'NN1 1' code and see what happens. It shouldn't effect your 'nearest' cache, unless you live in a very well stocked area. SP Quote Link to comment
House Of Boo
Have you put in your entire postcode? If that doesnt work Id go to GUK if i were you! they have an interactive map so you can see what caches are around you! It proved invaluable to our caching! Paste the web address below into your browser and you'll be away! http://stats.guk2.com/ Hope that helps you out! Enjoy the caching House Of Boo Quote Link to comment
Papakas
Try using a Hereford town post code. Hereford is HR so use HR1 1AA and that will search from the centre of Hereford itself. Quote Link to comment
Flackadder
Umm!!!! Trick question?? :-) All I do whan at www.geocaching.com is put my entire postcode into the box and 'hey presto' all is revealed, with distances to cache. Surely it could'nt be simpler, or have I got hold of the wrong end of the stick here. Bob... Quote Link to comment
wigglesworth
I go to the 'my caches' page and enter my home coords. Having a GPS is helpful because I would never have known my home coords otherwise. Peter Quote Link to comment
Naefearjustbeer
The geocaching.com database of uk postcodes has mistakes I know for a fact the a postcode less than 5 miles from my house is out by about 35 miles according to the site. I put it in and it tells me that a cache that is less than 1 mile away is about 35 away!! The geocacheuk.com site does not make the same error or streetmap.co.uk. Thats why your home co-ordinates are a better bet than a postcode for searching Quote Link to comment
