+Harrald Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 I am looking for a bit of input from fellow cachers. We are going to have an eighteen inch by eight foot banner painted by a friend for an April 17th CITO event. Which one would you pick? The one with the date would have the date added as a separate piece so it could be used over and over. Here they are Quote
+carleenp Posted March 26, 2004 Posted March 26, 2004 (edited) I would go without the date so that it could be used again in other years. Edited March 26, 2004 by carleenp Quote
+MissJenn Posted March 27, 2004 Posted March 27, 2004 You guys are so cool: you'll have a banner?!?! I vote for no year, and using www.cacheintrashout.org. Quote
+MissJenn Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 Harrald, For the printer's use, did you use one of the downloads from the CITO page for your logo? Or do you have a higher res logo that someone made? In either case, did the banner turn out "crisp"? (I received a request for an EPS file.) Quote

All I needed was a small piece of artwork for the painter. I snapped a quick picture with my palm. Quote
+TeamSpaz Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 I think you should have used the geocacing.com web page at the bottom. I think one of the points of CITO is to let the public know that we geocachers are doing good out there too. But whatever you use it looks GREAT. Have fun! Quote

+Hikenit Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 GEOSET is doing a banner if I can get the eps version of the logo. I have large format printers that can handle the job and my hand aint steady enough to paint it. so if anyone can get the logo in eps, give me a shout otherwise it aint looking good for CITO exposer in south east Tennessee. Snipe33 Posted April 7, 2004 Posted April 7, 2004 Awwwww your banner is bigger than ours Gee, now I have banner envy! Ours is 10" high and 8' long.....it's going to be mounted on the sides of the maintenance pick-up truck that the college is letting us borrow for the CITO event. Quote
+MissJenn Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 Check it out - I hope that Hikenit doesn't mind me sharing this photo. It looks SO good, I think you folks out there ought to use it several times this year!!! Get some mileage out of it. Is there any possibility of that? Quote
