+Blewmiles
I would like to know if I can use my Magellan GPS Companion , and be effective? Kelly Jackson Jr. Quote Link to comment
+Doc-Dean
It should be quite adequate for geocaching... in fact with the Palm Os you can also use several programs that would also be helpful such as Plucker which will copy a group of specified cache pages to your palm for review or reference. Very handy out in the field!! Good Luck! --------------------------------------------------- Free your mind and the rest will follow Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
It will work fine. It's just not as durable, or waterproof as a standard GPS unit. You'll have to be pretty careful with it, as GPS's get some abuse during certain cache hunts. "Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. +Shoebox
If thats a PDA, I don't think you can use things like EasyGPS to easily transfer cache information and way points. And it is pretty fragile on the trail. Quote Link to comment
