(January, 03, 1927) (In the ice??) 2) Survey Nail driven into root of Spruce Tree. 3) "Follow the road for 7.6 miles taking every left turn you come to" (Logging trails made in 1937) 4) "Nail driven into Maple tree at eye level and painted by assistant. Assistant did not understand he was to paint the nail area, not the entire tree." (1964) 5) (Recovery Record, 1976) Monument found in good condition but rock had moved 65 feet North-west. 6) 1937-Monumented.......1947-Missing......1964-Recovered......1991-Missing EDIT: JUST LOCATED ANOTHER ONE: 7) (On the way to the benchmark) .....until you hit the base of the cliff.....then turning westerly, follow in as irregular a line as possible......(1937) Edited March 22, 2004 by Spoo Quote Link to comment

CONC., PROJECTS 4 IN UNION, 1956 (WOULD REQUIRE SOME CLEARING AND AN ELEVATED SIGHT TO BE USEFUL) The last report (2000) was a NOT FOUND by MO HWY DEPT, but no mention how the Blue Pickup was holding up....
