Lasivian
I've got a bunch of my local caches that need new containers, i'm figuring on good condition ammo cans, but I need about 24 of them, any sources? thanks Quote Link to comment
+Andy and Robin
www.cheaperthandirt.com has the 6 for $19.99 with like $6 for shipping. They are generally very nice. I have had one bad one (rusty inside) out of 12 so far. The others are fair to good on the outside and like new inside. Get their catalog sent to you also. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Ditto on Cheaperthandirt, They have the best online prices I've seen. I get mine there and they all have been in good condition. Some have a little rust, but a quick swipe with sandpaper and a squirt of Rustoleum takes care of it. Other, possibly cheaper sources are flea markets, gun shows and your local army surplus store. Cruz1n4Cache
I would definitely check your phone book for a Army/Navy surplus store. They get 'em dirt cheap, and sell 'em dirt cheap. I got 4 cans (like brand new!) for 3.25 each! And only had to drive 10 mins. for them. Talk to the owner and tell him you need several and I'm sure he'll produce! If he doesn't have them in stock, he can get them by the pallet! Quote Link to comment
+buck09
My local Army surplus store (Sherpers in Hales Corner's, WI) sells them for $4. Quote Link to comment
+RPW
My army surplus store sells them for $8. Probably buys them for $2. :-( Not all places are cheap. Thank goodness for the internet! Quote Link to comment
