mgabel Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 Maybe this is how things are designed, but it is not so good: When I lose GPS signal on my 60CS, there is a beep (and I have to press a key to acknowledge that). So, I continue driving and don't know when/if the signal is strong enough to produce a lock. I need to keep looking at it, checking the display at the top to see if I've regained signal. This seems like a poor design. Or, am I missing somthing. Quote
+Latitude 26 Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 I think it is by design. My map 76S works the same way. It just "reacquires" the signal & keeps on truckin'... "Bassmedic" Quote
+Team BlackZ Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 (edited) You don't have to hit the enter key. It will reacquire by itself. Oh, I agree, I would like to have a beep after reacquiring also. Edited March 19, 2004 by Team BlackZ Quote
+Criminal Posted March 19, 2004 Posted March 19, 2004 The V does the same. Pressing "ENTER" just clears the message from the screen, satellite reacquisition happens regardless. Quote
