thcri
What does the program actually allow you to do? Is it something that you just upload to your GPS to give it a different look? murph Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
it's a data management program, and screen capture only. The GPS has it's own color schemes, it is really neat. Edited March 18, 2004 by GOT GPS? Quote Link to comment
CenTexDodger
My understanding is the black screens are for night mode. CenTex Edited March 18, 2004 by CenTexDodger Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
I was searching for a cache today, and couldn't find it, so I thought of posting a GPS Capture of it: I gave up after awhile, of not finding it, so it made quite a bunch of zigzagging in the tracklog. Quote Link to comment
+SBPhishy
I was excited for a minute! I have always wanted screen captures from my MeriGold. It doesn't seem to work though... Quote Link to comment

pitchblende
How do you enter Demo mode for the 60cs? I didn't find it in the manual. Quote Link to comment
+trippy1976
What does the program actually allow you to do? Is it something that you just upload to your GPS to give it a different look? murph Changing the look is limited to the 60CS, it's not a feature of the application if I know what I'm talking about. I think I do In your 60CS you go to the menu and there are some settings in there to change the color scheme. Garmin went out of their way to make this one purdy. Quote Link to comment
chimo
Demo mode on the 60CS is accessed on the Sat screen. Press Menu Button. Quote Link to comment
pitchblende
chimo, not quite as easy as you said but I figured it out. The Sat screen menu only says GPS Off mode. After you turn the GPS receiver off via that menu, then use find and do a goto to a destination (waypoint, poi, whatever). It then gives you the option to go into demo mode. That mode continues even if you stop navigating. Quote Link to comment
chimo
Sorry, I didn't have the GPS in front of me at the time. I found it by accident a day or two ago (I was showing some features to a friend inside a pretty well shielded building). Glad you found it. Cheers, Chimo Quote Link to comment
