+Salvelinus
Merp the Wandering Alien was one of the first bugs I started watching. A friend of mine (Aerie)actually found it but I liked it and started watching it. Not long after that, it went MIA. Last night I got an e-mail notice that its moving again! I noticed it was missing for 21 months! Thats got to be some kind of record or something. I love the comment by the person who had him that long... "Don't worry, Merp is in good hands and I will take care of him" Thanks for getting him moving again! Salvelinus Edited March 10, 2004 by Salvelinus Quote Link to comment

I picked up my first bug (logged it) and ill probibly keep it for a month till i go to another state and drop it off. And i feel kinda bad holding it for a little less then month, or a little more. aj Quote Link to comment
~Jay~
:thumbsup to this story! I picked up my first TB today, and I dropped it off today too. Those are fun little items, might just pick a few up (meaning purchase) and release them.. Quote Link to comment
+Cache Viking
Glad to hear it is on the move again. I guess I should stop worrying about mine when it is held for 3 weeks or so. Quote Link to comment
+The Leprechauns
One of the first bugs I ever picked up, in my third week of geocaching, was Keychains to Maine, a bug who wanted to collect keychains. I moved it from Pittsburgh to Rochester NY in July 2002 and it went MIA after that. I just got a watchlist notice that it's moving again! Picked up 6/28/03 and dropped on 3/19/04 after being discovered at the bottom of a caching backpack. Now if only either of my own two bugs would ever re-surface.... Little Leprechaun's Rabid Hamster has been held by a local geocacher since late June of last year, and the "Keystone Express" fell victim to a pirate after moving through just one cache after my initial placement. Grrrrr. I'll be surprised if I ever release another one. Quote Link to comment
+Team-Mikkelsen
Grrrrr. I'll be surprised if I ever release another one. I have released my first 4 now, and are planning to release 6 more why ? I kinda see it lika the fishes do drop a zillion of eggs and you can be pretty sure someone will make a fish. Put all you chances on one card. Oh well... So never ever give up make a new one and maybe a BIG tb ? attach it to a old shoe that would be fun he he Edit: Typos Edited March 20, 2004 by Mikkel Quote Link to comment
