+Oat Posted March 7, 2004 Share Posted March 7, 2004 I fired up my SporTrak today and after a few minutes of trying to get a fix the screen said "NO POS" and stopped trying to get a fix. It is clear here today and I walked to the middle of a open area to see if that would help. Nothing. After about 20 minutes it "woke up" and got a fix. Strange. Has this happened to anyone else? +Team VCR Posted March 8, 2004 Share Posted March 8, 2004 My Sportrak has done that a few times, to fix it I did a backup of stored wayoints, reset the memory and re-initialized, then left it on outside for 20-30 minutes to update it's almanac of sats. It's weird when it does it, but fortunately it doesn't happen often. Quote Link to comment
