+Ole Cache
I came across this today, looks awesome, kind of makes you wonder what cars will have in say - 10 years? http://www.avic-n1.com/interact.asp click on "Navigation". Quote Link to comment
thcri
Your seeing more and more GPS/Navigation systems being installed in more and more cars. Chrysler has some and so does Cadillac. And OnStar in most of the Chevy Suburbans has GPS but not the navigation, but for a yearly fee you can get access to just about anything, just dial in and they will tell you where you are, where the closes hotel is and even call in advance for occupancy for you. Kind of neat, I don't subscribe but have a business aquaintance that does and he loves it. murph Oh and moderator take out the report I made by mistake, sorry Quote Link to comment
+Yak Man & Yak Girl
My Pontiac Vibe has one like that. It has a DVD with the whole US on it. It does voice nav and re-routing. It seems to run off GPS and signals from the steering wheel and transmission. I dont think it is as reliable as my old Garmin Colormap though. It tends to get "lost" at strange times. I would prefer if it ran from the GPS signal only. Yak Man Quote Link to comment
