+briansnat
I gave some thought to what would be geocaching's version of baseball's "hitting for the cycle" (a single, double, triple and home run in one game). I think it would be finding caches rated at 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 stars for terrain in the same day. I realized that I just missed it on Sunday by bagging caches rated at 1, 2, 3 and 5 stars. Had I noticed at the time, I might have tried for a 4 star cache. Have you ever done it? Quote Link to comment
+clearpath
No, sadly, I haven't hit for the cycle, yet. But I am one heck of doubles hitter. Quote Link to comment
+ChrisCindy
Nice concept. Quote Link to comment
+The Cheeseheads
Sadly, I don't think there are any terrain five caches in my area, so this would be a toughie. Quote Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
A more do-able alternative would be to log a Traditional, a Multi, a Virtual, a Letterbox Hybrid, a Webcam, a Mystery, a Locationless, and attend an Event, all in the same day. The trick, of course is finding an Event that's somewhere near a Letterbox. Quote Link to comment

A local cacher recently hid a series of caches called "Lessons in Modern Cartograpgy" which was a cache of each type, except for locationless. I may have to give that one a go... +Renegade Knight
I think that's a straight. Quote Link to comment

+Team GPSaxophone
What's this about cycling? Quote Link to comment
+hikemeister
What does a locationless count as? Perhaps a foul ball. Quote Link to comment
+Lazyboy & Mitey Mite
That's an interesting goal. We have a 5 star planned out for next summer. I will scout the area for the necessary ranked caches. Quote Link to comment
+The Cheeseheads
What does a locationless count as? Perhaps a foul ball. It's kind of like when you bunt with two strikes and the ball rolls foul and you get called out. Quote Link to comment
+wildearth2001
actually it would be 1,1.5,2,2.5,3,3.5,4,4.5,5 Quote Link to comment
+travisl
I think that's a straight. What's a flush then? I searched the archives, but can't find the photo of the ranger station with the "Official Geocache" sticker stuck on the porcelain of their bathroom toilet. Quote Link to comment

(I would have done a multi but I was in quantity over quality mode.) Does that mean I'm stranded on second? How do I get brought home from here now? Quote Link to comment

+NightPilot
How do I get brought home from here now? That's what the GPS is for. You did mark home before you left, didn't you? Quote Link to comment
