aka Monkey
I came cross these bags, and thought the might be a cheap solution to a cache container. My only concern would be animals chewing through the plastic. Aloksak Bags Has anyone had any experience with these? Quote Link to comment

astheravenflies
I haven't had any experience with these. As a cache container, they look like they wouldn't be durable. But they look like they'd keep a log book dry for awhile. BTW, great link to other cool stuuf. Quote Link to comment
Chazman007
I agree with RandMan, Ammo boxes are the best way to go, thanks for the link to the bags, they are awesome for other uses . Quote Link to comment

yumitori
As a stand-alone container I think you want something more solid. But for those interested in learning more about how they work in the field, there's independent reviews on BackpackGearTest. Quote Link to comment
briansnat
I considered using thick rubber dry bags. The type used for canoeing and kayaking. At $15 and up apiece, the price scared me off. Still, I think it would be a good container if they could be found cheap. Quote Link to comment
