+2LuknF8 Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 I am a new owner of a HP4150 and need some assistance with GPXSOnar. I have a 128Mb SD and want to keep my gpx and psp files there. GPXSonar is installed to main memory but doesn't seem to see the files in SD. What am I doing wrong? Should I load the program into SD as well? My gameplan is to have several dedicated SDs so that whenver I switch from working to playing moded, all I have to do is switch SDs. Is this possible or am I making it too complicated? Quote
+Jim W Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 It should work fine in the main memory. Here is what my screen looks like when I open GPXSonar, and it will find the GPX file. Just make sure you have "All Folders" selected. Quote
+-=(GEO)=- Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 2LuknF8... (love your handle btw ) This question has been asked many times and there's an easy fix. Just create a folder, say 'Gpx Files' on your SD card and place your GPX files in there. GPXSonar will find them. So you know, I have the same setup as yours on my PPC where I run GPXSonar from the main memory and store the GPX files on the memory card. Regards, Fabien. Quote
+Rosco Bookbinder Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 Actually you might want to put GPXSonar on your mem chip to keep the memory in your handheld as unused as possible. You can load the program anyplace you want and the files anyplace else you want and as Jim as shown you Sonar will pick up the files when you have all folders showing. Quote
+-=(GEO)=- Posted February 14, 2004 Posted February 14, 2004 Rosco... If you favor speed, you want to keep the app in main memory. Regards, Fabien. Quote

May be true Fabien but I have tried both ways and have found so little difference that I have the program on my chip just to keep my PDA from being so filled with programs. For others in main memory might work better.... Quote
