+gallahad
There's a couple of answers to that question. Here's one possibility Wouldn't that be both answers? To Markwell a thread means to answer a question by showing a previous thread. Named after Team Markwell. Nope, you provided the second answer. I know, it's a technicality. But I consider "Team Markwell" and "a Markwell" as two separate classifications. The first being a geocaching participant, the second being a reference to the practice for which the reference was coined. Edited February 8, 2004 by gallahad Link to comment
+Team GPSaxophone
Markwell is our resident Ent. He gave us quite a few updates to the FAQ as well as the verb "Markwell". It means basically, to provide a friendly link to where something has been discussed before. Link to comment

+Criminal
If you start a thread about changing the rules of the game to better suit your beliefs, it will offend me, thus it's a Criminal Offense. Edited February 8, 2004 by Criminal Link to comment
