From one of my caches:

The low quality photo really doesn't do it any justice...

And also, from Wild Waters near Jasper, Alberta:

(High-res versions of the last two photos here and here respectively.)

I've seen lots of beautiful things while caching, though... if anyone wants me to dig up more/post some better quality pics just PM me.

Those pictures of the PNW really make me wonder why the heck I live in Dallas. <_<

that is SO true! I used to live there till I joined the air force. I got my mom hooked on caching and she lives just east of denton. do you have a caching group that she could maybe join?

View of NYC taken at the Alexander Hamilton Death Rock cache in Weehawken NJ 2e86962e-928a-4973-a44e-1883a9c745e4.jpg

Brian, you need to get up to date. Alexander Hamilton's Death Rock has been archived. Time for you to visit some of Andy Bear and my caches on the Hudson Palisades!

I'm lucky, I get to travel quite a bit with my job. I've seen some awesome places and because of all your posts, I've updated my "must do" cache list, just in case I get near any of the ones you've shown me!!! Here's a couple from my favorite cache to date:

Rags To Riches (GCJ9E7)

That's Hartford, CT in the background. It's almost 60 miles away and you can see downtown! Gotta love the zoom lense and the wide open sky!!!

And here's one while I was logging a TB (Geiko the Gecko) in my home town Panama City, FL:

This is perhaps the greatest caching view I've seen in Kansas. Found it on the way to Lake Afton Cache shown here.

It doesn't get much greater than this:

Liar! That picture is all over the net. You can't SERIOUSLY be the author...

Here are some pictures from my latest cache, "Stone Valley." It's not approved yet, but if you want to check it out later, it's GCQ4DY.

Ignoramus! What's with the flame? I was in Kansas when I found it on the net while downloading the coords for Lake Afton Cache. Don't recall ever saying I was the "author". (Incidentally, check your language use; author refers to written products. I believe the word you should have used was "photographer". Thanks, just the same.) Call me a liar, ya inarticulate.......never mind.

Hey, calm down, I was just messing around. I didn't seriously bear any ill will towards you with that post. I'll admit that it did sound a bit nasty...

But you can't say that you didn't imply that you took the photo (and thanks, photographer was the word I was looking for... don't know why I couldn't come up with it at the time.)

Aaaa, no harm, no foul. Just being me! :) I can't believe it took a moderator two weeks to remove the pic and give me a spike on my warn meter for that. What has this site come to? :)

A couple of pics from my longest cache trip ever - 8,360.5 miles one way according to the mileage on some of the bugs I carried with me. These were taken during a sightseeing tour we took before getting to Guangzhou and Shamian Island where Old Russia In China is located.

There is no limit to the beauty this world possesses.

Exactly what I was thinking! Amazing how many things so completely DIFFERENT can still be "beautiful!" From Hawaii to Arizona to Rhode Island... this is one GORGEOUS country we live in! :D
