Cholo
How does UTC work? It works to prevent confusion, once you know your local time in UTC. UTC was once known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). International radio broadcasters use UTC so that every listener in the world knows exactly what day and time is in their schedule. I would have no problem with this, if that is what the forums used. I have my time on the forums set for Central Standard Time (CST), for my covenience. UTC is the time (24 hour format) and day at zero longitude. Right now my time is 2 AM CST or 08:00 UTC. +GeckoGeek
You got that I was being sarcastic, right? I used a smilie! Nope. I completely missed that one. I was also too lazy to look up your profile. No U.S. member would ever be confused, but I thought maybe you came from the land of funky spelling for "color". Link to comment
+Stump
Seattle does include the Center of the Universe so it only makes sense to use it as the standard to measure of time. Link to comment
+Theseus
Funny you should mention the center of the universe. Thanks to a local cache hider I recently learned the that the real Center of the Universe is located in Boston. Link to comment
