Nascat Posted February 2, 2004 Posted February 2, 2004 (edited) Check out a Yahoo Group called geocaching_ireland We're planning a Spring trip to Ireland and joined this Group, we were contacted by two members within a day with invitations to meet up. They seem like really nice Folks. Enjoy your trip, drop me line when you get back. Edited February 2, 2004 by Nascat Quote
+TAT Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 I flew in/out of Dublin a few weeks ago. There is free internet on the computer phones in B and C concourses. You have to go through security to get to them, but it might be helpful for that last minute cache or instant log! The cache at the airport is a perfect diversion while waiting and is a very short walk. Check up on the bug I left, if it's still there! Have a great trip!! Quote
+klaus23 Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 That group is my own and can be found under http://www.egroups.com/geocaching_ireland Thanks for the kind words Nascat. see you soon Quote
+DomHeknows Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 thanks for the timely info - we're possibly coming over to ireland for a long bankholiday weekend at the end of the month - but getting the ferry over to dublin. Quote
+klaus23 Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 any chance of heading west or will you be staying in the Dublin area only? Quote
+DomHeknows Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 not sure - the wife wants to see ireland as she's never been there and i dont think she'll want to spend the entire weekend caching (although at least one cache HAS to be done). We'll probably be doing some driving around the area but at the moment its a small dream - nothing down in reality just yet! Quote
+klaus23 Posted May 12, 2004 Posted May 12, 2004 well keep me posted in any case - once you have an plan of action I could recommend a cache - or three! Quote
