topografix
I just updated the list of GPX-enabled programs at http://www.topografix.com/gpx_resources.asp Are there any I've missed? +-=(GEO)=-
topografix... You can add "GPXSonar Stats Wizard" which automates the tracking of your geo-statistics on keenpeople.com. Regards, Fabien. Quote Link to comment
+GeckoGeek
USAPhotoMap (Areal(sp?)/Topo mapping program) Quote Link to comment
ItchinToGoFishin
I-Cache by Big Sky Cachers is a free Windows program that lets you keep track of all of your geocaching information, including your pictures. I-Cache will import GPX files. Quote Link to comment
+parkrrrr
BMGPX is available as a Windows binary or as C source and converts NGS datasheets into GPX (with Groundspeak extensions) GPXDoc probably doesn't meet your criteria, as it doesn't do anything really useful without the Groundspeak extensions. +Mopar
GPXDoc probably doesn't meet your criteria, as it doesn't do anything really useful without the Groundspeak extensions. Neither does Watcher. If I'm remembering right, Watcher won't even function without the Groundspeak extensions (intentionally). Also, Spinner is also available as an offline, windows app. Edited January 30, 2004 by Mopar Quote Link to comment
+Rosco Bookbinder
I just updated the list of GPX-enabled programs CacheDragon (PocketPC - geocaching software) From my own experience, from the writings of others, from what the author did (stop in the middle of development with users contributions) I wouldn't add that program to a list of deleted files. And other than GSAK and GPXSonar there are no others needed anyway. IMO Edited January 30, 2004 by Rosco Bookbinder Quote Link to comment
+JeremyA
Terrabrowser - similar USAPhotoMap but on Mac OS X. Does projections of waypoints onto Terraserver photos/maps + upload/download of waypoints to/from GPSr. Quote Link to comment
+shunra
This list is a great resource. Could someone copy it, add a few descriptive lines and - very important - links, and post them on a web page somewhere? Wouldn't the Groundspeak FAQ page want to host this list? Quote Link to comment
+ClydeE
GSAK (Windows - Geocaching Swiss Army Knife for OziExplorer) Sorry to be picky, but could you drop the "for OziExplorer". GSAK does have very good integration with OziExplorer. However it is now a much more rounded applicaton, and also supports many other formats. Thanks Clyde Edited January 31, 2004 by ClydeE Quote Link to comment
+NightPilot
Clyde is correct, of course. I have never even seen OziExplorer, but I use GSAK all the time. GSAK converts the .gpx files to .html (or loads of other formats if you want), and uploads the waypoints to my GPS. If it could just do the final conversion of the html to Plucker format, or anything else readable on the Palm, I'd be a really ecstatic cacher, not just a very happy one. Quote Link to comment
