+RockyRiver
TigerGPS is $418.68 The irony is all the stores vary from $420-$429 but they come out almost the same when I check out shipping with 2nd day air. GPS City gives free shipping but its probably 3day or more. Quote Link to comment
thcri
With shipping I found Gpsdiscount to be the best. They also seemed to be the only one that has plenty available for orders to date on the first shipment. The price was $420.09 including freight. I recieved the following e-mail from another company. Reading the email I did not feel like I wanted to buy. This came from a yahoo shopping and felt there was an in between person and I would not be buying from the company direct. "The distributator gives estimated date of 2-27-04 for the 60cs They have 61 of the 60c in stock.. . 60c $359.99 + $8.00 for UPS ground shipping in the US TOTAL $368.99 60cs $399.99 + $8.00 for UPS ground shipping in the US TOTAL $407.99 Above prices are for based on payment by money order or Pay Pal Credit Cards are accepted through Pay Pal but an additional 3% must be added to the total Thanks for the interest" Reading the above I just ddn't think the savings was worth it. murph Edited January 28, 2004 by thcri Quote Link to comment

+Ish-n-Isha
417.99 total. Drop shipped direct to my door at the same time the retailer gets theirs. ......you will be at the top of the list this way. I will actually put your order in with the distribution warehouse and it will ship to you directly upon release. This should get it to you faster than any other method. Is this acceptable to you? We will, of course, notify you when it ships and we will email you with the UPS tracking number at that time. I'm expecting a couple weeks. Garmin just released the GPSMAP 60C and we were told that the 60CS would not be too far behind. I have not heard of any production delays but if something delays this too long we can always provide you with a refund. The 60CS should be worth the wait. I think it's going to be a hot seller. It's an easy choice when you compare it to what's on the market. I'll put your order in with the distributor and I will notify you when it ships. +slinger91
Does anyone know, if I were to order a 60CS "right now" if anyone(tigergps,gpscity,etc...) could fill my order with the first shipment? Quote Link to comment

Grab all the email addresses from the companies mentioned and email them and ask them. Its the only way to know. No way of knowing which are blowing smoke unless you have delt with them alot before. And with the demand, who knows if each retailer will actually get as many as what they think they will. Its a crap shoot. Quote Link to comment
+slinger91
Thanks Ish-n-Isha. I'll probably start with GPScity, I've had good luck with them in the past. Quote Link to comment

zpx606
Weird that I saw a guy on another forum say that he received the 60cs. Maybe he meant 60c. Quote Link to comment

He did say CS but then came back and said he meant C. Wished he did get a CS because I would be asking him where he go it. murph Quote Link to comment
