+Criminal
Oh, I misread the post. I thought you said "Lep" year caches and I got very angry that Lep was getting a year of his own. I know I should be happy for him, but I’m not. Who’s after Lep? Lapaglia? Then we have to have Lapyear. When is it my turn? dadgum I hate being left out…. Quote Link to comment
+Snoogans
I hope to be placing one on that day. I have 3 locations in mind. Chance Encounter may have 86'd one with a recent hide nearby. Oh well, ya snooze, ya lose. Sn gans Quote Link to comment
+TeamK-9
I think I'd place one. I have two ammo cans raring to be put in the middle of nowhere and left there for months. I was planning on placing one or both of them for CITO day, but I think I'll do a leap year cache. Maybe call it Leaper's Cache, or Cache of the Leaper... Quote Link to comment
+wildearth2001
Leprecaun could call a leap day cache Leaprecaun and Lapaglia could call a laeap day cash Leapagila Quote Link to comment

Tahosa and Sons
I know of where there is a big old tree that was used as the final jumping off place for some desparados, and they took that final leap. Would make a good cache name as the final leap, but its on posted property. Oh well I'm gonna have to get busy and plant one that day. Quote Link to comment
+clearpath
GREAT IDEA!!! A leap year cache ... I would call mine "Take a Flying Leap". Quote Link to comment

+Sparky-Watts
Well, I've got 3 ammo cans sitting in the garage waiting for a camo job.....guess maybe I'll plant one in honor of Leap year...... ......and then one, I guess I'll save for Criminyear (pronounced Criminy-year)! +MissJenn
How about WaldenRun's Birthday Cache? Only slightly on topic but very definitely intriguing is Quarter Birthday by The Puzzler: I was so fascinated with the books that I have changed parts of my life because of it. My quarter birthday is one area. I have given up celebrating my regular birthday and now only celebrate my quarter birthday. That is the anniversary of when I was a quarter year old (three months), which occurred on April 1st of '53. It's got lots of advantages for me. For instance, it gives me three months more time before I have to admit being older. Also, since my real birthday falls in the Christmas/New Years week, I was always getting shortchanged on presents. Not anymore. Quote Link to comment

No need to get angry, Criminal. 2004 is also the Year of the Monkey in the Chinese calendar. As the forum's greatest proponent of toothless helper monkeys for geocaching, you should revel in the spotlight. It can be both our years. If I hid "Leapin' Leprechauns" or some other cache on 2/29, I'd put it about 8 or 9 feet up in a tree. +ChinCache
I will be hiding a MULTI-STATE CACHE on the 29th(pa&nj) the planned name is look before you leap as it will be by some cliffs (special equipment? maybe we'll see when we hide it.) +Brian - Team A.I.
I have a cache submitted called Frogger Took a Leap that plays on 2 different themes. The street name plays in, the address plays in, and the cache location itself plays in. Should make for an interesting cache. After work this morning, I'll be stopping by to place the cache, then releasing it to the approval queue. Quote Link to comment
+woof n lulu
Placed our "Leapin Lefty" cache last weekend, and submitted it for approval on the 29th. Next one will be a theme cache, just have to figure out where to place it ! Quote Link to comment
