garypaul
I'm new to GPS and have found some coordinates but when i plug them into my city streets program it doesn't make any sense. The cords are 35.960460169 and 114.726124864 can anyone shed some light on these numbers and how i can use them in my city streets program. Thank you Quote Link to comment
+Stunod
The coords you are using are in decimal degree format. You can convert to any other format HERE Quote Link to comment
+GeoCraig
You can also just multiply the digits after the decimal by 60. Quote Link to comment
+BullDogBob&Double00
I use Microsoft Streets and Trips, Which uses decimal format. What I do is enter the coords in my gps reciver then change the format in my receiver and it converts them for you. very simple and fast. Also no mistakes. Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
You can also just multiply the digits after the decimal by 60. that will give you decimal minutes. then if you need seconds (this site uses decimal minutes) you can repeat. Decimal seconds are where it stops. Quote Link to comment
