Athenian Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Any cachers in SE Ohio? We are a couple from Southeast Ohio looking to tag along with a geocacher(s) in the area. Looks like a lot of fun and we'd like to see what it's all about before we invest in a GPS and other equipment. Quote
Seeker BP Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 The perfect guide for you would be "Rubbertoe" Have not seen his name around alot here lately though. I think he was from Lancaster. I am assuming you are in Athens. Just got back from Nelsonville myself. Believe me, if you like to get out in the woods and water, see odd and unusual things, get into the history of your own State, and like the idea of treasure hunting, then just run down to walmart, and start out with an E-Trex. $99.00 dollars plus tax Or go onto E-Bay. They are everywhere now. Good Luck and enjoy Seeker BP, 44805 Quote
+Bjorn74 Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 I've got friends South of Logan. I could take you on a caching tour, but the best place to start would be closer to Lancaster since there very few caches near you. Of course 2 of the closest are mine... Email me or swing by the Central Ohio Forums. Quote
