+Jamie Z
If GC.com were to start a chat feature would anyone use it ?If so, why, and if not, why ? In the list of forum topics, there is a link straight to the geocaching chat room. Or are you asking if GC.com started its own chat room, would people quit using the one already listed and go there instead? Jamie Link to comment
+Lone Duck
I think Jeremy has been clear that he doesn't want to host a chat room. The server load would be enormous. Link to comment

+ClayJar
As we just had the second anniversary of the weekly official geocaching chats (and of course, people chat all the time, not just on Monday evenings), I'd have to say, yes, people use it. Link to comment
+gallahad
Albiet in delayed fashion, these threads often take on the image of chat rooms. I'm votin' NO; don't want no chat feature here. If ya wanna chat there's lots of sites already dedicated to the purpose. Edited January 23, 2004 by gallahad Link to comment
