lotl
Im sure there are a few others that are using their PPC for GeoCaching. I was hiking up this snow and ice covered trail a few weeks back with Axim X5 in hand and thinking this is not a good idea. I do have a small camera pouch that i use for storing it while not in use, but i would like to have something that would allow me to use it while in the case and has a cutout for the Holux CF GPS card. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Quote Link to comment
lotl
Well i just came across this case while doing some searching, but for $99.95 i think i would rather keep the AXIM in the car and get the Garmin 60CS that everyone is drooling over. Otterbox Quote Link to comment
+oneeyesquare
Try http://www.aquapac.net/. Definitely waterproof and adds some degree of protection as well. The neck lanyard is nice as well. I cache with my Sony NX80 in one w/o any fear or mishaps. Quote Link to comment
lotl
Just found this review of the Otterbox 3600, the 60CS is looking better all the time... http://www.pocketpclouisville.com/reviews/...3600_Review.htm Quote Link to comment
+Rubberhead
I also use an AquaPac with an HP iPAQ 4150. It works great and offers scratch protection and waterproofness, but would not protect against any real impact. Quote Link to comment
+EarlyMorningHours
I've always used a RhinoSkin for my iPAQ. It offers absolutely no water protection at all, but has served its purpose quite well over the last two years. Couple of nice 2 to 3 foot drops and not a mark to be found. When I'm out caching and need some expediant water protection, I just throw it into a sandwich ziplock baggie Quote Link to comment
