I have sent mine back to Magellan via the uk distributor with a promise of a replacement in a couple of days. That was 2 weeks ago and still no sign... will keep you all posted as to what happens. +Lost & Found Posted April 30, 2005 Share Posted April 30, 2005 in regards to the cracks on the gps's. I worked for several years in a plastic factory, doing mold set-up and material handling. I'm sure if Magellan were to delve into the problem they would find that the plastic used for the cases is not correct for their requirements. They should go back to the plastic manufacturer and have the quality control test the plastic and backtrack the material used. Quote Link to comment
