thcri
I have Microsoft Streets and Trips and has been on my computer for over a year and never have opened it. I did finally open it. I can connect my Etrex Vista to it and pull off my location from my GPS. What I would like to do after creating a route on Streets and Trips is send it to my GPS as a route. But help me here because I can't see how to do it, if you can? Maybe you can't. If not then Streets and Trips is kind of worthless?? murph Quote Link to comment
+Olar
Unfortunately you cannot. There is no upload/download capability to your GPS. S&T does however offer a very valuable feature for cachers. Cache waypoint downloads can easily be converted to .csv files and then imported into S&T as pushpin sets. This allows a very handy way of visualizing cache locations and planning of caching trips. Here is a sample map of caches in my area. Each pushpin has a url-link to the gc.com cache page. +PDOP's
I think that GPS Utility will read Streets and Trips .est files but you're limited to routes of five points. Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
See st2gpx, the companion project to GPSBabel at http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net/tips/related.html Be sure to read the caveats that go with it - you can't get to where you _really_ want to be from S&T. Quote Link to comment
