+stu_and_sarah
http://www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/going_out/d...ltshire_2.shtml There is a message in the newsgroup alt.rec.geocaching about it from the person who wrote the Wiltshire article. It reads as follows, "Have just put up a feature on geocaching on the BBC website for Wiltshire having spent an afternoon geocaching in Wiltshire. Here's a link to the feature... http://www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/going_out/d...wiltshire.shtml If anyone comes across the BBC purses I put in two Wiltshire caches I'd be interested or if you've tried any of the Wiltshire caches.... Thanks. Sarah Jones BBC Wiltshire" Sarah -- Quote Link to comment
Lactodorum
Yes, a good article. However, did no one notice the logbook entry? A bottle of Ginger Wine !!! I reckon someone should go and rescue it quickly. If they want a good home for it I'll send my address Quote Link to comment
+Eckington
......yes, but the date of that log was May 2002, I bet the Ginger Wine ish lon' gon' Quote Link to comment
+The Wombles
They're both our caches and the ginger beer is long gone (hic...). I suspect the log entry wasn't the author, who seems to have visited recently, but of the first log of that particular cache. Nice to have some positive publicity in Wiltshire, we could do with more cachers over here. Edited January 14, 2004 by The Wombles Quote Link to comment
The Cuthberts
We lay claim to hoarding the 'Tigger' bear in the article. (correction..... it's his brother !!) Also agree to more caching in Wiltshire Dave as there is nothing else to do ! Edited January 19, 2004 by The Cuthberts Quote Link to comment
