+WindChill
A group of Cedar Rapids area cachers have been discussing this off and on for a month or so. After seeing the turnout at the recent Cache for Coffee event, we decided it was time to get started. Right now the "official home" of the group is the CR_Geocachers Yahoo! group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CR_Geocachers). If you are interested in joining, here is what you need to do: - Join the Yahoo! group and post a message to say hi, - Share your thoughts, views and opinions on what you would like to see from the group. +smillersmiller
Congratulations. Let us know when your fist picnic is. It was almost 50 degrees yesterday -- good time of the year for eating outdoors. There's been a lot of talk about forming a Central Iowa group. Maybe it's something we'll hash out this Winter/Spring. +WindChill
The entertainment committee wants to know if you will dance and play the accordion for them? Wow...That doesnt look right. It was supposed to be "dance and play the accordion for them" the snacks, not "for them" the committee. Sorry Carleenp Quote Link to comment

+TJ-Tigger
I was on a flight to Scotland that day or I would have made it. I am looking forward to the next one though. I might set up a coffee meeting here in CR. They just opened a new coffee shop near my house and I thought it might be fun to have a Multicache where the objective is to find the coffee house.
