Sportrak Rebate

I purchased a new Sportrak Map today at Wal-Mart. The price was within my budget at 169.77. I was under the impression that the Sportrak Map also has a 30.00 rebate until Feb. 2. I downloaded the rebate form and the last part of the upc code on the form is different than what is on my package. Am I entitled to a rebate? Do I have to buy at a certain store to qualify for the rebate? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Seriously you do not have to buy from a certain store to qualify. The UPC is different so that you do not use it and there is a counterfieting (sp) for rebates

I got mine from Radio Shack and sent it in. I don’t think they care where you got the unit from, so long as you send in the cut UPC code from the box. It’s a way of insuring you don’t return the unit to the store.

Thanks for the replies. I'll send it in and hopefully get my rebate. BTW, I'm really enjoying playing with this thing. It works great. I get reception in my house, and in my car while the unit is on the seat. Having fun so far.
