adampierson
I know it isn't the first. But is anyone know any mobile geocaches? I know there WAS one in Fort Lawderdale and it involved using HAM equipment. But how about the network car? http://www.networkcar.com/networkcar/pub/main They used to advertise on the local radio station, but I haven't heard anything from them for quite a while. +Perrin
I've heard of them, I think there might be one in Oregon somewhere. Other than that I'm afraid you'll have to wait for some one else to get an answer. Quote Link to comment
+ChrisCindy
There used to be moving caches. I had one but they are no longer allowed. Some were grandfathered in but mine somehow missed the cut. For the new folks it was a cache that you would find, move, then log the new coords. They were fun. Quote Link to comment
+bons
I missed this one and never had a good day to chase it down but maybe someone else will get lucky. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=38496 Quote Link to comment

+Smitherington
There are two of them still active in Michigan. ABC's GCCD54 Oakland Transit IV GC4084 They are very enjoyable to do and I hope they stay in action for a long time. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
There are two that I know of in this area. This one is supposed to stay in NJ and this one has been making its way around NJ and PA. Edited January 8, 2004 by briansnat Quote Link to comment

+Renegade Knight
Moving caches & Mobile Caches are two different things. Most of the links are to Movign caches. they are either at certain coords or they are not. The mobile types move and the coords are updated as they go. This kind is probably a Ham specialty. I think a mobile cache mounted on a car would still fit the requirments of caching and should be approvable on this site, even if the car should happen to park on NPS lands. Quote Link to comment
+carleenp
I missed this one and never had a good day to chase it down but maybe someone else will get lucky. I missed that one too. Everytime it got placed around Lincoln, someone else beat me to it! Quote Link to comment

+Tprints
This one went through PA & Ohio recently... http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...fd-f9cc940ae97f Drove south about an hour just to grab this one. Had to see one of these at least once. I also made one of my own for our local GeoCache group (NWPA GeoCachers) and it's been moved 11 times now in the Erie area. Everyone seems to be enjoyng it. +Markwell
I have a series of 10 moving virtuals: The Photographer’s Cache The Photographer’s Cache II The Photographer’s Cache III The Photographer’s Cache IV The Photographer’s Cache V The Photographer’s Cache VI The Photographer’s Cache VII The Photographer’s Cache VIII The Photographer’s Cache IX The Photographer’s Cache X And one that's limited to the Chicago area: The Photographer’s Cache: Chicago Style Other than that, there's Moving Target in Chicago, that's a physical cache that moves within the park, Now You See It, Now You Don’t (similar). We also had www.wherespo.com come through our recent event. Mind you, all of these were approved before Geocaching.com invoked the “no moving caches” guideline. Quote Link to comment
+cacheKidds
I'm glad we found the Photographer's Cache IX! Thanks Markwell--those are fun! Edited January 9, 2004 by cacheKidds Quote Link to comment
