+ddnutzy
Found this benchmark and three references 11-18-03 with wildbird. MZ1646 in Hampshire county, Ma. Mt .Warner 1885 with a last recovery 1937. This is the oldest one that I've found. We also found MZ1847 in Hampshire county, Ma. North Warner with a recovery 1934 . This one might be older then Mt. Warner. Edited January 7, 2004 by ddnutzy Quote Link to comment
2oldfarts (the rockhounders)
Congratulations on a pair from 1885. One word of warning though --- You'll get so you'll pass up any benchmark that is not at least 50 years old. The pre-1900 marks are addicting!!! These old ones are what make it so much fun. Congrats. +JoGPS
Great job on those two marks, I agree, I do find the newer ones and the drive by’ but it’s the old one that make it all worthwhile and sooooooooooooooo cool……………JOE Edited January 8, 2004 by JoGPS Quote Link to comment
TimSkells
Thats really neat. All the benchmarks by mee seem to be about 24 years old. One day... One day... Quote Link to comment
+seventhings
Over 100 years old and more than 60 years since last noted recovery - both very impressive data points. Great job! 7 Quote Link to comment

Here's one that's a bit older (as in 1877) that should be in your neck of the woods. MC1061 good luck on finding it. John Edited by the oldfart. Forgot to mention that it hasn't been logged in 30 years! Edited January 8, 2004 by 2oldfarts (the rockhounders) Quote Link to comment

Pschtyckque
Is there a way to search benchmarks by date? Or is it purely by location? Quote Link to comment
