Moderation Cue Vs. Banned

Now that all my posts are being moderated, I have an opinion on this.

In the time between when I hit send and the post is approved, time passes. Often enough time to where when the post hit's the thread it no longer has the ability to contribute to the conversation at hand. These forums are active. Removing someone from the real time interaction takes away from actually contributing to the post. It's like coming up with the perfect retort in a conversation 10 minutes later.

Even when it comes to helping newbies. A post can often happen within minutes. The delay won't stop them from being helped but it could delay a good answer without any real need.

Besides it's a lot of work for the mods, to sort through all the drivel to find the 'evil' post lurking within.

All in all, I'd rather just be banned for the balance of my time. It saves me frustration and makes the moderators job easier.

RK - I agree. I'd prefer you be banned from the site too (emoticon).

I have no idea what you said to get into the hot seat, and don't need to know. But I do know that somewhere in those nearly 5000 posts of yours you've helped me more than once. So, as long as you're able to suffer the punishment - keep on posting!!

I have the same problem. By the time my posts are reviewd by the moderators, my post becomes dated. By the way, who do you like in the Superbowl, the Giants or the Bills?
