Welcome New Ne Cachers

Since I found my first cache New Years day 2003, I figured there's probably a bunch of folks who received GPS's for Chrinukkawansa and I wanted to say Hi!

Just reading other topics about "stolen finds" and such in some of the other forum areas - (which seems awfully silly to me) - I wanted to encourage any new cachers in the area (I'm in northern NJ) to walk up and say "Hi!" if they find me looking under bushes, logs, or behind guardrails.

So....any new Cachers in the NE - welcome to the neighborhood!!!

I'm a new cacher too! Just moved to Centreville VA from Boston MA. Just hit my 50th+ caches in New Jersey... I'm excited to start caching here around the DC area soon! (As soon as my non-caching hubby goes back to work! hee hee ;) )

I hope to hit 100 caches by the summer. I cache everywhere I go--both my parents and sister have gone with me... I love going! I'll hope to meet cachers in the area, we should organize a meet?

Hi All, although this is an old thread, it seems we meet the criteria. We just started caching this past weekend (Feb. 28th) and have logged 10 finds so far. We've run into a few fellow geocachers (dhenning25 & the Frantic Cachers) so far and hope to run into some more as we continue geocaching. We've sent emails out to some geocachers and have had a really great response. What a GREAT bunch of people geocachers are! :)

Hope to meet more of you during our travels.

Such a wonderful heart our hart climbs has! Since I have been officially caching since last August, just over 6 months am I now initated as a total geocache freak?

(Yes, I leave myself open, swing away!)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I can't tell you how appreciative I am to all the great geocachers out there who have provided some excellent help and guidance.

I am completely hooked on this sport and everything that goes with it. It has made me more aware of the historical aspects of a location as well as the natural beauty of our environment that I may never have seen...

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you out at a cache or at an event.

Thanks again.
