+webscouter.
Hi all, I started caching in 2003. I wanted a USA geocoin to commemorate it but they are all out. If anyone has one I would be willing to trade two 2004 coins for it. Thanks Quote Link to comment
+DustyJacket
Whoa. You are just up the highway from me. (Lee's Summit) I have one last 2003 USA Geocoin right here. Quote Link to comment
+lnk3d
I am also looking for 2 x 2003 Geocaching coins if anyone has 2 to spare I would be highly intrested in obtaining them as we started geocaching in 2003 Thank you! Lnk3d lnk3d@getlostne.us Quote Link to comment
+bons
I still have 1 2003 coin left, still in the bag, never registered. I'm also willing to bet there's still one in The Travel Bug Hotel that you visited last week since I know I left one there and no one has said anything about picking one up. If you're going on Sunday I'll meet you there. With luck you'll have 2 by the end of the day since the CITO is right next to the cache and swapping a virgin TB for a virgin Geocoin shouldn't upset anyone too much. +Deckyon
I would love a 2003 geocoin. I also started this year. Quote Link to comment
+bons
Update for lnk3d: I'm now holding two unactivated 2003 geocoins in their original wrappers. Quote Link to comment
+DustyJacket
Have to put them up on eBay and watch the cachers bid on them. I has 5. I gave one away, activated 3, and have one left for webscouter. I should have bought more, if I knew they were going to be a comodity..... Quote Link to comment
+lnk3d
Thanks bons! See you on Sunday at the CITO Quote Link to comment
geOhana
Does anyone out there have any other suggestions for a source of the 2003 coins. We just started geocaching after Christmas and would really like one (or more) of the 2003 coins. I've done a search on Ebay and a Google search to no avail. Does anyone know of a coin dealer or someone that would have stocked up on the 2003 coins before they stopped producing them? Or does anyone else have one or more that they would be willing to sell or trade? If not, I guess this just proves that the early bird does get the worm.... (Of course the second mouse gets the cheese!) Thanks, Greg Quote Link to comment
