+shunra Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 Yesterday night at 9 pm I was FTF on a new cache in my area, and this morning I got a message from the cache owner, saying: Congratulations on being the first and probably the first on setting a record. We placed the cache this afternoon and logged it after 4:00 pm. I replied that I have to share the honor with the fast approvers of my area. My own caches have never ever been found within 5 hours upon me having logged the hide. Have yours? Quote
+Snoogans Posted December 29, 2003 Posted December 29, 2003 9Key approved my "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning!" cache in under 30 minutes. The first hit cam just over an hour after that. I only know for certain that I hadn't been on the computer for 2 hours (write up, submit, approval, hit) when I noticed the first hit. That really made my day. Sn gans Quote

That really made my day. That's pretty fast, too. Yours is a virtual, so I suppose that the approval routine can naturally skip a few steps. So in your case, more of the credit goes to the FTF :-) Quote

+briansnat Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 I had a find within 30 minutes of its approval. it popped up while I was surfing the website and was less than a mile from my house. Quote
+Renegade Knight Posted December 30, 2003 Posted December 30, 2003 (edited) Best approval time. 5 min. Fastest FTF logged on one of my caches. I'm not even a contender with your guys speeds. Edited December 30, 2003 by Renegade Knight Quote
