+rusty_tlc
As I write I am uploading new firmware to my Meagllan Platinimum. After I hit the go button it struck me that I was going from 3 point something to 5.12. That's one heck of a jump. I am now having an attack of remorse that I didn't ask advice from this learned forum before I clicked on that button. Will everything be Okay? Quote Link to comment
+ChileHead
Oh that's too bad. You should have asked first. That's the software release that turns it into a Garmin. Quote Link to comment

robertlipe
If you followed instructions and cleared memory before and after the upgrade, it'll be fine. Quote Link to comment
