+robotman Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I have a Magellan SporTrak Pro with the v5.0 software. I thought I read somewhere that you can now make waypoints invisible. For example, after you find a cache, you could make it invisible so it doesn't clutter up the map. I can't find out how to do this, though. Did I misunderstand something or can someone explain how to hide waypoints? Thanks. Quote
4x4van Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 Go to the "edit waypoint" screen. At the top, either the first or second field, is the option "visible". Uncheck the box. Now save. That's it! Quote
SBPhishy Posted December 19, 2003 Posted December 19, 2003 I have a question kind of related to this. If i remember right, when i would select a GOTO with the old software, i would get the GOTO line, and the little defaul crosshairs would appear on the waypoint. Now it seems, with the new software, 5.0, when i select a GOTO, the little dashed line appears, but there is no crosshairs on the waypoint like it used to have. I can make it appear manually by doing what 4x4van said, go check the visibility box and then save it, but that is kind of annoying. Am i missing something? I liked this aspect of the old software, and it doesnt seem to be there anymore. THanks! Quote
