3boys4us
Hi. We're new to Geocaching, and I am looking for some caches to try to hit on Christmas Day in the Central Valley, anywhere between Elk Grove and Stockton areas. I see that there are lots of them, but can anyone give me the names of some of your favorite ones? It will be me, hubby, and our 3 boys, so don't make them too difficult, bordering freeways, etc. Can't wait to get started. Jen Quote Link to comment
+Green Achers
Glad you asked... If you do your homework to solve, Just Forum You, you'll also see what you're asking for. BTW, Welcome to Geocaching and Welcome to the greater Central Valley Cachers. Suggestion, for your first hunt, do something easy (rated 1/1). Some people start on harder caches and DNF which really takes the wind out of the sails. Edited December 16, 2003 by Green Achers Quote Link to comment
+Ted & Rosa
You might try "Geo Troop 145" just off Woodbridge road west of Lodi. It is a 1/2 mile walk through a wildlife area, next to an irrigation canal. Cache is easily visible once you are at the right spot. Happy hunting! Quote Link to comment
