+team walkingsticks
I must say, I'm fairly new here and have been following all the forum debate stuff. This thread has helped me come to the conclusion that for me, off-topic posts have merit (at least this type of post does). I laughed so hard at a couple of these posts (O' Holy Night, and the nuclear thing...) I actually cried. I just replayed O' Holy Night to my wife and we just howled....! Granted I wouldn't want my eight year old looking at some of this stuff but I monitor what he goes to. I am sure there are many kids my son's age that enjoy geocaching, but how many of them actually read these forums? I think it's cool to get to know other geocachers through the use of forums. It's debatable whether that can happen by simply responding to typical geocache type questions. Personalities evolve when people express themselves particularly when sharing humorous anecdotes or discussing heated topics. Anyway, thanks for the laugh. That felt good. Quote Link to comment
+Webfoot
Joefrog used to. The private topic area rocked. Agreed. I miss the private talk area as well. Quote Link to comment
+Webfoot
Geez. I haven't laughed this hard in such a long time. Thanks to everyone who has posted thus far and thanks to those who will post in this thread in the future. What a great thread. Quote Link to comment
KimAndMollie
Speaking of Christmas, if this doesn't make you want to pour bleach directly into your ears, I don't know what would... I cannot be held responsible for any damages caused by listening past the 2:10 mark... P.S. This is completely work-safe. It's just... wrong... Gak! I couldn't even make it past the :33 mark! bug and snake
It means 'made to be bland, in accord with the majority opinion, innocuous, inoffensive, middle of he road. Completely non-confrontational.' In otherwords, made moderate. NON-extreme..... Quote Link to comment
