MAntunes Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 (edited) We're a team of Geocachers that's trying to set up a worldwide multicache. This will be the second edition of the international multicache (IMC). The previous one was european and this time we want to make it worldwide. In order to get the entire picture, here you can see how it was the first edition of IMC: European IMC Nº 1 and here, you can read the draft of the entire project plan: IMC Nº 2. The author of this idea was Hendrik Woelper a German Geocacher (Qwertz). So far, we have: Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Now, we're looking for members in EUA, South Africa and New Zealand (Other Countries from other Continents will be invited too). We need persons that checks their e-mail in a daily basis so the tasks can run smoothly. The Geocachers that accept to join us, will be enrolled in the Yahoo Group created for this project. Should you be interested to represent your Country, please, answer to this post, so the others knows, and i'll be glad to e-mail you, through Geocaching.com e-mail service, asking your personal e-mail in order to send back the official invitation from our Yahoo Group. The first one to candidate, will be the choosen one . Manuel Antunes Edited December 9, 2003 by MAntunes
KBer Posted December 9, 2003 Posted December 9, 2003 Sounds like big fun. I live and work in New Jersey, approximately 20 miles from New York City. Count me in.
MAntunes Posted December 12, 2003 Author Posted December 12, 2003 KBer joined us representing USA :-) Still open for South Africa and New Zealand. Aren't Geocachers from these countries visiting this section?
wray_clan Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 That sounds like a really cool idea. I'd suggest starting another thread on the New Zealand and South Africa sections, if you want geocachers from those areas.
MAntunes Posted December 13, 2003 Author Posted December 13, 2003 Thanks for the sugestion. I thought this section was enough to get all the members we need. Seems not. I'm closing this topic and will create similar ones in the specific sections for those countries.
