JohnnyZnor Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 Recently purchased a ST color and was wondering if I should bother updating the firmware to 5.01 if I'm not getting Direct Route. +DustyJacket Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 I have the Meridian Color, not the sportrak, but the firmware upgrade for it also vastly improved the use of color. Even for my MapSend Topo maps. More parks show as green, and roads like boulevards which used to be white with black morders and blended in with side streets are now yellow with black borders. Much better. I would HOPE that the Sportrak Color would get the same changes, but I am not sure. One thing to do is to save your current firmware installer to disk, and then try the newest version. If you don't like it, you can always go back. Quote Link to comment
