+CachinCin Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Is this sort of like the "jackalopes" found throughout the Rockies???? Cin Quote
Tenniskid Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 (edited) I've never heard of such a thing! That's really weird and kinda scary! Walking in the trees looking for a tough geocache, and wham! a Tree Squid right in the face. That's very Interesting, thanks for sharing that! ~Db "If I were tupperware, where would I hide ?" +Sparrowhawk Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 (edited) This reminds me of a funny thing from about 10 years ago... on a Usenet discussion group centered around comics and graphic novels, someone tried to ask: "So what is happening lately with Suicide Squad?" I guess he was asking about the current storyline of that comic book, or something. Unfortunately, he typoed it as "Suicide Squid"!! THAT started it!! An avalanche of posts followed, all commenting on the latest adventues of Suicide Squid. It was a hilarious mess. Folks chimed in with all the great things that Suicide Squid had been up to - as if the character actually existed! Ever since then, Suicide Squid has been a tradition over there. They have the Squiddy Awards. I understand the joke still reigns, though a bit faded by now. Fun stuff to think about, though. Edited November 26, 2003 by Sparrowhawk Quote
