mlnapoli
Hello everyone. This is my first post. My girlfriend and I started caching back in August. I just placed my first cache and travel bug today. My question is: Is there a way to sort for NEW caches close to my location? Thanks Mike Link to comment
ShaneN4Girls
Other than using a pocket query to sort caches by "placed by date," the only way I have found to keep track of new caches in your area is to sign up for Skydiver's new cache alert service. Link to comment
Baptist Deacon
Yeah, now that is what I am talking about. They need to have a link to this on the links page or set up geocaching.com to be able to do this. Either way, thanks for the link. Any more interesting and helpful links like that one??? +reastick
(First post in the new forums, so excuse any gibberish...) I find this link helpful: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?country_id=5 New caches are infrequent enough in Alberta that it is a conventient way to keep on top of what's new. Mileage may vary in your part of the world. Link to comment
Team GPSaxophone
I just do a search from my home coords and scroll down the list looking for the 'New' icon. Then again, I usually get an email by using Skydiver's program. You can also set Pocket Queries if you are a paying member. Don't forget, you should get an email every Thursday listing the new caches placed that week in your area. Link to comment
nonnipoppy
If you do not loginto Geocaching.com and search by your state I believe the results are listed with the newest last. That is how I do it. Link to comment
