waldrtw
I just bought Delorme topo 4.0 and I like the maps but cannot figure out how to mange waypoints very well. I would like to list the waypoints that are downloaded by name but can not find out how to do it. I would also like to be able to download the files (.loc) from the geocache site and load them into my topo 4.0 and then load them by name into my gps. PLEASE HELP tim Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
http://gpsbabel.sourceforge.net for a .loc from this site, choose an input type of "geo" and for Delorme Topo 4, choose an output type of "xmap". Quote Link to comment

+alexm
when I did that I got thisgeo:Parse error at 1: syntax error What now??? What you're feeding it is not a geocaching.com ".loc" file. It's an EasyGPS ".loc" file. Choose "easygps" as your input type and you should be smooth sailing. The two formats are not interchangable. ... alex Edited November 21, 2003 by alexm Quote Link to comment
+shunra
Does that work the same way for Delorme Topo 3.0? And is there a good reason to upgrade? Quote Link to comment
