otterbuff Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 (edited) I am looking for input on what to do with scans that I made from the first log of W&O Trail Mile 29 Cache (Virginia). Specifically, I have about 50 images (small size) and I would like to add them to the cache page. However, the form a single column when I put them onto the page. I think they would be fun to have, but if they are in one column, then it would be a pain in the rump for people to navigate the cache page. I am not interested/willing to put it onto a separate web page. Therefore, does anyone have any suggestions what to do with the scans to share them? Or is this something people would not even be interested in? Edited November 21, 2003 by otterbuff Quote
+briansnat Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 I recall someone scanning logbook pages and setting them up so you could actually page through the log book online. I think it might have been Stayfloopy who did it. If I'm correct, maybe he can tell you how. Quote
+StormShadow Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 How about putting them into something like a pdf. file? Not sure how much that costs. Quote
+EMTJeepers Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 If you want them in PDF, I can do that Just let me know. Quote
+Harrald Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 I scanned the logbook pages from the Woody Cache cache when I archived it. It's ten scans with four log pages per scan. Maybe that's what you're looking for. Quote
mortonfox Posted November 21, 2003 Posted November 21, 2003 I did the scans for the old log book from George Washington's Stairmaster. The log scans are here. Most of the work was in scanning the log book. After that, I generated the HTML for it with a Perl script. Quote
