Zaphod Beeblebrox
Sometime today Renegade Knight will post his 4,000th message to these forums and join BrianSnat in the highest, most exclusive echelon of geocaching. Congratulations on this most impressive accomplishment. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
There are others if you add in their old forum posts. "You can't make a man by standing a sheep on his hind legs. But by standing a flock of sheep in that position, you can make a crowd of men" - Max Beerbohm Quote Link to comment
+nittany dave
I've never met RK or BrianSnat but from reading some of their posts, I tend to agree with their opinions more often than not. Still I'm not sure I agree that thousands of posts to a forum should elevate you to the most exclusive echelon of geocaching. Two different things entirely. Quote Link to comment
+Smitherington
What it means is that there are a few out there answering questions who have been here for quite a while providing continuity, history, stability, etc to this wonderful sport. Thanks to those who enjoy this enough and have the time to sit at their computers long enough to be of assistance to us who are newbies or previous newbies, answering questions, giving opinions, encouraging, etc. Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
My real goal for the weekend is to hit 500 finds. 4000 posts is just a bonus. Zaphod, we don't see eye to eye in the forums all that much, but I'm beginning to get the feeling that our sense of humor is eerily similar. Quote Link to comment

Very good insight. Now, RK and BS go out there and get a life. Just please log-in to the forums every once and awhile to make sure we are still doing okay. You know, check-up on us occasionally. +clearpath
quote:Originally posted by Criminal: Was that a shot? Absolutetly not! I love those guys (in a brotherly kind of way). They are a lot of fun and offer support and positive input 99% of the time. There are those rare occaisions when BS has a few too many brewskys and gets a little wild (who doesn't). But mostly, they are good people and to some, they are inspirational (not as in gospel or worship, more like they motivate people to be better Geocachers.) I just hope they get as much out of the forums as we get from them. That is why I try to poke fun at them. Quote Link to comment
+Criminal
I meant the original post. Seems a little TIC. http://fp1.centurytel.net/Criminal_Page/ Quote Link to comment

+Doc-Dean
Congrats RK... Hmmm... I wonder what his signal to noise ratio is over those 4000 posts? --------------------------------------------------- Free your mind and the rest will follow Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Hey, if I had a job I won't be hanging around here so much . Resume available upon request. Didn't you see I gave RK a big "thumbs up" AND a 5-check rating? Not a single "rolling eyes" guy in evidence anywhere. What's your problem ... and what's "TIC" an acronym for? Quote Link to comment
