+Renegade Knight
I've always used Treasure. This is from the days when hiking in the Snake River canyon would would find something like tear gas canisters or a marble. Best 'treasure' wins. Quote Link to comment
+Macro
None of the above....my vote goes for "Geoswag" Quote Link to comment

Treasure gets my vote too.... my granddaughter loves to go "find treasure" so that's what we have been calling it since we became addicted. Team BigHank Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
I prefer 'treasure' also. Unfortunately, I would not vote for it because it makes one think of buried treasure. Obviously, this is not an image we want to conjure. Quote Link to comment
Cachemere
I guess swag means different things to different folks. Please see #3. I found the reply from hgmonaro on this thread informative. Make mine a vote for treasure too! It reminds me of the treasure hunts we used to go on as kids vacationing in Virginia. Our treasures were never buried, just kind of cleverly hidden. Gee, sort of sounds like Geocaching! That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Quote Link to comment

MTBguy
quote:Originally posted by macro: None of the above....my vote goes for "Geoswag" Same here. "loot, booty, plunder, haul, contraband, spoils" When one refers to "Geoswag", he does not mean a sleeping bag hidden in a cache, but trinckets, McHappy meal toys, junk, all aslo know as "swag", or the loot, booty, plunder, and spoils. So put my vote in for "goeswag" The Mountain Bike Guy. Quote Link to comment

BassoonPilot
I voted for "booty nuggets," but I like GeoStuff better. Quote Link to comment
+Snowtrail
Geo-Junk??? Geo-Stuff??? The only time I'm actually calliung it something is to explain it to somebody who doesn't know anything about geocaching. I usually end up calling it treasure because it's the easiest way to explain it. Quote Link to comment
