Guest suntzu
I have been using easyGPS for a few days and I must say, it rocks. FYI it is available for free at: http://www.easygps.com Quote Link to comment
Guest bunkerdave
Are there any databases of locations you can download for Easy GPS? I am interested in Databases of gas stations, rest areas, restaurants, campgrounds, etc. I can hold quite a few waypoints in my MAP330, and it would be useful to be able to get waypoints for the areas where I travel. It looks like EasyGPS would make it a pretty simple project for Geocachers to collect coordinates for lots of places and put them in a huge database for all to use. I would be interested in initiating such a project, if one is not already going. Quote Link to comment
Guest echosgold
I just downloaded EasyGPS and it seems to be a great little program. The lat/long thing is kind of a pain though. Is there another way to enter your waypoints in WGS-84 format without having to convert over beforehand? ------------------ Echosgold www.Outdoor-Dog.com -Gear for active dogs! www.Outdoor-Dog.com/Geocache -Echosgold Geocache Quote Link to comment
Guest gnbrotz
EasyGPS does not allow for changes in the datum or coordinate formats. Another product from Topografix called ExpertGPS allows for these changes as well as integrating topo maps and aerial photos for you to overlay your waypoints onto. You can download it for a 2-week trial. ------------------ Greg N39°54.705' W077°33.137' Quote Link to comment
