jayr517
Does anyone know if there's a rating system anywhere for geocache.com registered users? Like, for examples, the newest users, the oldest users, most number of caches found, etc, etc. I can't find anything on the site, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. Quote Link to comment
+flask
i think you'll find there isn't one. now step back and watch the fun. quod est, est. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
There was, but it went away a couple of months ago. It was developed and maintained by a geocacher, independent of this website. There has been a lot of talk of reviving it, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. GC.COM doesn't have such a feature and from what we're told, has no plans to build one. jayr517
Well, if the powers that be are listening, I'd like to re-develop it! I'm a programmer (out of work at the moment) and I love to do this stuff. I'd find it interesting and informative to be able to compare my stats to other geocachers(I'm new to geocaching and my stats are lame, but I think it's a blast). Quote Link to comment
+TMAN264
Cool, please make a "creepiest cacher" stat, and make me #1! Make a sanity check. Quote Link to comment

CacheMonkeez
Go for it! You'll have a lot of grateful cachers. Maybe one of them will hire you! quote:Originally posted by jayr517:Well, if the powers that be are listening, I'd like to re-develop it! +Bloencustoms
A keyword search of the word "stats" yields five pages of threads. Quote Link to comment
robertlipe
It goes way beyond ratings, but it has already been solved on a local level and it can be done for your group, too. See http://stats.mtgc.org and follow the FAQ for how it can be done for you. Quote Link to comment
ju66l3r
They will say "We thank you for your offer, but at this time we are not accepting offers from people to code anything for us. We're really not all that quick to implement new features and volunteer work would be amazingly useful, fast, and cheap, but in light of the fact that we'd actually have to share...we'd rather just play nice and hope that you'll vent and rant in the forums instead about missing features that we will one day get around to implementing on our own schedule." ....er, or something like that. Not that I've tried to offer my services on a previous occasion or anything. -- http://www.theonering.net/staticnews/1064605367.html Quote Link to comment
