This is my first post ever to the forums and today is the first day I Geocached. I been using a Garmin GPS V for a long time now while ATV'ing in Michigan. I was wondering if anyone else in the forums ATV's and if they have some picks of how they got their GPS units mounted to their machines. Heres a pick of how I got mine mounted to my 2002 Kawasaki Prairie 650. I use a RAM mount made for the GPS III/GPS V.

i have older Yamaha's and use the handlebar mount from garmin for my Vista and yellow Etrex's, works great and a solid mount. Use the same mount on my V65 in the summer. I am looking into a RAM mount for the boat.

It's not a sport unless there is something dead in the back of the truck when you get home.

The RAM mount is the way to go. I have one on our Honda Rancher and Santa is bringing me a new GPS for the 2002 Grizzly!

If your handlebars vibrate it can sometimes make it tough to read the screen.

It is good to see another ATV'er on this site. It appears our sport is frowned upon by others.
